To achieve massive information interaction and meet the demand for ultra-high speed and ultra-bandwidth data centre interconnection (DCI), Megnet has launched the 1.6T transponder – a customized OTN transmission platform for DCI applications.
The solution uses TSP16 equipment, eight 200G CFP2 on the line side, and sixteen 100G QSFP28 on the client side. Full configuration can realize 1.6T service capacity transmission, while 40CH DWDM MUX/DEMUX can realize 8T service capacity transmission. All devices are suitable for short-distance business interconnection between data centres and long-distance business transmission in backbone networks.
